What is the CFT about?

Ever wondered what happens on a coffee farm throughout the year? What goes into making coffee export-ready?

Join bridazul in this hands-on Coffee Farm Training and learn everything about coffee in origin, from seed to export.

FARM MANAGEMENT

Work as a coffee farm worker: from preparing soil over planting
& pruning to pest & shade management.

Think as a coffee farmer: implement a strategy that incorporates profit, planet and people.

HARVEST & PROCESSING

Experience how hard it is to ‘only pick the ripest cherries’ and decide with your group how to process them.

Explore the various processing techniques there are, both in theory as on the cupping table.

DRYING & EXPORT

Go to work in a drymill with various options for drying and see for yourself what effect each has on the final coffee.

Classify different qualities, learn about pricing structures, and how coffee is prepared for export.

"This course encompasses everything from seed to export
and is a combination of hands-on experiences and class room theory."
